BHAJIA - Ayurveda Cooking Recipe
BHAJIA
Ingredients
Besan
Salt
Haldi
Red chilli powder
Hing
Sodium bicarbonate
Oil
Water
Potatoes or onions or aubergines
Method
1. Add to besan, salt, haldi, red chilli powder, a pinch of
hing and sodium bicarbonate.
2. Add a little oil and make a thin batter with water (add
the water in a thin steady stream mixing
all the while, to avoid lumps).
3. Slice thinly potatoes, onions, aubergines. Dip pieces in
the batter and deep fry in hot oil for a short time.
Note: The bhajia can also be made with cauliflower, panir or even banana.
